Isak Nordenberg was an intern at the ISDP Stockholm Japan Center and studied political science at Linköping University where his research primarily focused on decision making processes in the Japanese government during prime minister Shinzo Abe’s time in office. Apart from completing the bachelor’s course in political science at Linköping University, Isak also recently completed the course of international law at the Swedish Defense University in Stockholm where his research primarily focused on non-State armed groups responsibility towards international human rights law. His research interests are international law, security policy, development and contemporary politics in Japan.
