Erika Rutonen
Former Intern
Erika Rutonen was an intern at the ISDP’s Stockholm Center for South Asian and Indo-Pacific Affairs. She is a European Affairs Master’s student majoring in Political Science at Lund University. Her interest in South Asian and Indo-Pacific Affairs comes from her exchange semester studies at Palacký University, where she studied International Development Studies. Connected to her study background, she is particularly interested in the EU’s and its member states’ presence and partnerships in the region. During her previous internship at the European Commission Representation in Finland, she learned more about these relations from Finland’s perspective.
