Arbenita Sopaj - Institute for Security and Development Policy

Arbenita Sopaj is an Executive Assistant at the Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in Tokyo, Japan. She is a Researcher at the Research Institute for Indo-Pacific Affairs (RIIPA), a board member at GPAJ. She obtained her PhD from Kobe University on Japan’s Diplomatic History. Dr. Sopaj is the author of “Hiroshima G7 Summit: A pivotal moment for Japan’s diplomacy” (Japan Today [Tokyo], March 18, 2023); “More alike than not: Kosovo and Taiwan” (Global Taiwan Institute (GTI) Vol 7, Issue 12 [Washington, DC] June 26, 2022).
