November 1, 2018: ISDP is pleased to welcome Dr Agneta Bladh as a member of our board. Dr Bladh is a former State Secretary in the Swedish Ministry of Education and Chairman of the Swedish Research Council. Most recently she was the government-appointed Inquiry Chair of the Inquiry on increased internationalisation of higher education institutions. (2017-2018).

October 26, 2018: ISDP was pleased to organize a roundtable with Dr Ouyang Xiangying, Senior Fellow at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. Dr Ouyang gave a presentation on China-Russia economic ties with a view toward developments in the recent past.

October 18, 2018: ISDP organized a roundtable on gender issues on the Korean Peninsula with the participation of our guest researchers from the DPRK and ROK. The discussion revolved around various topics such as gender equality, women’s representation in politics and their situation in society.
