ISDP welcomes Fatoumata Diallo as a Junior Research Fellow
June 3, 2019: ISDP is pleased to welcome Fatoumata Diallo as a Junior Research Fellow. Fatoumata will work with ISDP’s Stockholm China Center, conducting research on domestic political developments in China as well as Chinese foreign policy.
Fatoumata holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from Leiden University, the Netherlands and a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations and Chinese Studies from the INALCO, Paris. Her research focuses include China’s foreign policy, non-traditional security, China’s political economy and sociology. She was previously an intern with the Stockholm China Center in spring 2018, after which she was employed as a researcher at the Center in summer 2018. She was most recently a trainee at the EU Delegation in Beijing.
“I am very happy to re-join ISDP at an exciting time for an organization always on the move. Contemporary political developments in China and Northeast Asia require deepened efforts to promote dialogue and engagement, as well as to-the-point research and analysis that allow policymakers to make the right decisions.” said Fatoumata.
