He highlighted the potential positive impact for Russia on the fighting in Ukraine, having many new, trained soldiers added and reducing the argument for mobilisation in Russia. Additionally, he pointed to the implications for the Korean Peninsula security dynamic of DPRK and KPA getting modern battlefield experience and increased evidence of European and Asian security developments being interlinked.
