Tristan Eng is an Associated Junior Research Fellow with the Stockholm Center for South Asian and Indo-Pacific Affairs. He is a practicing lawyer in regional Victoria, Australia, passionate about ensuring regional Australian perspectives are represented in international legal and strategic debates.

He completed his Juris Doctor degree at the University of Melbourne, with studies in international law at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

His research and experience span international law, maritime security, and regional governance in the Indo-Pacific. He has contributed to organisations including the Journal of Territorial and Maritime Studies, the Yokosuka Council on Asia-Pacific Studies, and the Indo-Pacific Studies Center.
