September 16, 2025: In-bum Chun, a Distinguished Military Fellow at ISDP, was quoted by Deutsche Welle on the military exercises conducted by the US, South Korea, and Japan amid North Korea’s increasing threats.

“I do not think the timing of Iron Mace is in response to any particular event, but it is an overdue exercise to learn effective ways to prevent and counter a possible North Korean nuclear threat,” said In-bum Chun.
