Looking back at the Taiwan-Nordic Forum 2025

May 14, 2025: Last week, the Stockholm Taiwan Center hosted the annual Taiwan-Nordic Forum 2025 on May 7. The forum brought together distinguished Nordic and Taiwanese scholars and experts for discussions and an exchange of ideas around important issues of mutual interest, reflecting growing international attention to the Indo-Pacific region and Taiwan’s role within it.

The Taiwan-Nordic Forum 2025 consisted of three sessions:

• Session I: Navigating Geopolitical Risks: Enhancing Supply Chain Security
• Session II: Crisis Preparedness: Total Defense in Taiwan and Sweden
• Session III: Democratic Resilience in Taiwan and the Nordic Countries
