
Jeenou Yi

Jeenou Yi is the Co-founder and President of the International Division at the Korea Young Leaders Forum. In this role, he works to foster bipartisan dialogue on foreign and security policy, develop forward-looking proposals on Korean Peninsula affairs from a young professional’s perspective, and build next-generation global networks with emerging leaders engaged in these issues.
He was also the Founding President of the Georgetown SFS Korea Policy Club and has served as a legislative intern in both the Korean National Assembly and the U.S. Congress. He previously interned at an NGO focused on North Korean human rights.
Jeenou graduated from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service with a Master of Science in Foreign Service (MSFS), and from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science.
During his stay at ISDP, he will focus on the topic: “Global Governance at a Crossroads: Korea–EU Strategic Partnership for Strengthening Democratic Futures, Human Rights, and Shaping the Future of the Korean Peninsula.”
