Ines Vassort is an intern with the Stockholm Center for South Asian and Indo-Pacific Affairs. She recently graduated with a master’s in international relations, specializing in Global Conflict in the Modern Era at Leiden University. And following this internship, will begin a second Master of Security Management, at Leiden University. She also holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences and International Relations. Ines is currently a volunteer researcher at the Heidelberg Institute for International Conflict Research (HIIK). Her interests lie within security issues, especially linked to conflict situations, but also in the protection of human rights. With this internship, she hopes to learn more about security cooperation between the Eu and the Indo-Pacific region, and also between neighbourours countries within this region.
