Jagannath Panda attended the Third ASEAN Think Tanks Summit (ATTS)

September 17, 2026: Dr. Jagannath Panda attended the Third ASEAN Think Tanks Summit (ATTS), which was held at the ASEAN Secretariat in Jakarta from 14-15 September 2026. The summit brought together more than 150 participants from ASEAN states and Dialogue & Development Partners under the theme “Navigating Our Future, Together.” Importantly, the discussions were intended to feed into a policy memo for ASEAN’s November 2026 summits. The Third ATTS was held under the Chatham House Rule and was held under the auspices of the ASEAN Secretariat, involving many representatives, government officials, and think-tank representatives from ASEAN, Asia, the USA, and Europe. The main think-tank participants in the Third ATTS were the Singapore Institute of International Affairs in Singapore, the Australian Mission to ASEAN, the German Corporation GZ and GIZ, the Embassy of Switzerland in ASEAN, Asia Pacific Foundation in Canada, and Renmin University in Beijing, China.
