Gareth Jenkins at the 7th Annual Turkey Conference

September 30, 2016: Gareth Jenkins, Non-Resident Senior Research Fellow at ISDP, participated in an expert panel at the 7th Annual Turkey Conference organized by The Center for Turkish Studies at the Middle East Institute.

“What we are going to see now is a politicization of the military, where being seen as ideologically sympathetic to the government is going to be key to advancement in the military in the same way it is in the rest of the civilian bureaucracy.”
