Seminar: Global Governance at a Crossroads: Korea-EU Strategic Partnership for Strengthening Democratic Futures, Human Rights, and Shaping the Future of the Korean Peninsula

A seminar in collaboration with UF Uppsala featuring Jeenou Yi, President, International Division, Korea Young Leaders Forum (한반도청년미래포럼):

Given the growing challenges facing global democratic governance, I hope to explore how Korea and the EU can work together to contribute meaningfully to the international democratic order, the rule of law, and human rights. In addition, I aim to examine potential pathways for contributing to the long-term peace and democratic development on the Korean Peninsula in line with the Korea-EU strategic cooperation on democratic governance. I hope to approach this research from a Young Professional’s perspective, with a focus on proposing midto-long-term, non-partisan policy recommendations.
