Chinese Culture and the Country’s Peaceful Development Strategy

Tuesday, November 29, 2011, 10:00 – 11:30

China is coming to the center of the world stage as a rising power with a very bright future. What role will China play on the international stage? How should the world understand China’s grand strategy? How will China deal with the contradictions between it and other countries in the future? These are the important questions for countries around the world. Senior Colonel Wang will introduce and explain his opinion on these questions from the perspective of Chinese history, its culture and the current realities of the country.

Senior Colonel Dr. Wang Xinjun is a senior research fellow of the war theory and strategy studies Department, Academy of Military Science, of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army.
