Jagannath Panda spoke at the 2026 World Knowledge Forum in Seoul

September 9, 2026: Dr. Jagannath Panda, Head of the Stockholm Center for South Asian and Indo-Pacific Affairs, spoke at the 2026 World Knowledge Forum in Seoul from 8-9 September 2026. The theme of the 2026 forum was “The Promethean Moment: Architecting the Co-Intelligence Order.” Dr. Panda was a panelist at the session ‘Reshaping Global Supply Chains: Strategies across Continents’. The other panelists were Dr. Zongyuan Zoe Liu and Mr. Bernard Salome. Mr. Brian Kingston moderated the panel. This panel focused on the significance of Supply Chain Connect in Asia, Europe, and beyond. The forum details can be seen here.

Dr. Panda also participated in the conference titled “Chip Era: Governance, Infrastructure, Labour, Mobility,” organised by the Transit Asia Research Network organised from 4-6 September 2026. This conference was held at the Centre for Cross-Cultural Studies, Kyung Hee University, Global Campus. This conference was co-organised by the International Center for Cultural Studies (ICCS), National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, and the Institute for Culture and Society (ICS), Western Sydney University. Dr. Panda spoke about ‘India and the Semiconductor Era: Shaping the Future of the Indo-Pacific Chip Order’.
