ISDP welcomed a student group from Penn State University’s College of Information Sciences and Technology

On May 21, 2026, ISDP had the great pleasure of welcoming a student group from Penn State University’s College of Information Sciences and Technology. The students and their professors, Chris Sebora and Joseph Squillace, were visiting various countries and organizations in Europe to gain broader international perspectives on national security and global risk. Stockholm and ISDP were first on their itinerary.

Dr. Niklas Swanström, ISDP’s Executive Director, gave a presentation on the Institute, its research focuses, key issues related to research and innovation security, as well as Swedish security policy in relation to NATO and Russia. Afterwards, the students had the opportunity to ask questions and mingle with the ISDP team.
