Shruti Kapil is the Head of the Security & Mutual Dependence Desk at the International Centre for Sustainability, UK, where she focuses on strengthening relations between India, the UK, the US, and the broader West. She is leading key initiatives on India’s water security and the strategic significance of the Himalayan region for both India and the world. With experience in national security, peacebuilding, and strategic communication, Shruti has worked across both the public and private sectors, as well as with think tanks and research institutes. She holds a degree in psychology and a master’s in clinical criminology from the UK, as well as an executive certificate in counterterrorism from Israel.
