Melita Phachulia - Institute for Security and Development Policy

Melita Phachulia is an intern for the Asia Program at ISDP. She recently completed an MA in Disinformation and Societal Resilience at the University of Tartu. She also holds a BA in Journalism from the University of Georgia and a modular Master’s in Adult Education with a focus on digitalisation and democracy from Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg.

Her research focuses on disinformation, security, resilience, and international affairs. She has contributed to institutions and initiatives, including the International Centre for Defence and Security (ICDS), the Baltic Defence College, Stiftung Erinnerung, Verantwortung und Zukunft (EVZ), EU DisinfoLab, Hybrid European Democracy Festival, National Democratic Institute (NDI) Georgia, DVV International, and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), and is a scholar of the Atlantic Council’s 360/Digital Sherlocks program.
