Sevil Khikmatova

Sevil Khikmatova is an intern at the Center for South Asian and Indo-Pacific Affairs at the ISDP. She is in her final year of MSocSc in East Asian Studies at the University of Turku. Her Master’s thesis focuses on Japan’s energy transition frameworks domestically and internationally.

Fluent in Japanese, she did academic exchange twice in Japan: in 2023 and 2025, as well as an internship in the renewable energy supply chain and policy analysis in Japan 2025-2026.
