Loke Sandvall

Loke Sandvall is an intern with the Stockholm China Center, as a part of his master’s degree in the Chinese language via Uppsala University. In his previous studies, he has a bachelor’s degree in Chinese language and culture from Uppsala University. He has also completed an exchange year at Fudan University in Shanghai with advanced studies in the Chinese language.

His professional experience includes extensive international communication in foreign languages through previous employments and has experience communicating in English, French and Mandarin Chinese. His academic interests include linguistics, Chinese history and culture as well as a focus on the Hong Kong region.

His bachelor’s thesis explored the importance of intercultural communicative competences when learning foreign languages.
