Bastian Szepanski
Intern
Bastian Szepanski is an intern for the Asia Program and the Center for Research and Innovation Security (SCRIS) at ISDP. He is in his final year of his master’s program in International Security Studies at Charles University in Prague. He also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and History from the Georg-August University in Göttingen.
Bastian specialises in multilateral defence structures (NATO/EU) and the impact of emerging technologies on modern warfare. In his master’s thesis, he analyses the impact of FPV and COTS drones in the Ukraine War on the strategic level of force employment.
