The ISDP’s Korea Center was honored to attend the Korea National Day Celebration Concert

September 29, 2025: The ISDP’s Korea Center was honored to attend the Korea National Day Celebration Concert on September 26 in Stockholm, Sweden, at the invitation of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea.

The 90-member Daejeon Yeonjeong Korean Traditional Music Group performed traditional Korean music at the celebration. Known throughout the world for showcasing the emotional core of Korean culture via both traditional and contemporary Korean music, the performance marked a genuine foray into Korean music heritage.

Additionally, the concert’s conclusion, which featured traditional Korean instruments playing ABBA’s widely popular hit song “Dancing Queen,” solidified an evening that celebrated both Korea’s national day and the strength of Sweden-South Korea ties.
