Svante Cornell’s piece “The US returns to region between Russia, China and Iran” was featured in Turkish media

January 9, 2026: In December 2025, Svante Cornell, ISDP’s Director, and Brenda Shaffer published the piece “The US returns to region between Russia, China and Iran” in Nikkei Asia.

This piece was featured in Turkish media as the country’s rising role in the Middle East and Asia was given extensive space.
