This webinar will explore the findings of the Central Asia-Caucasus Institute’s newly released paper, “Is Central Asia Stable?” The paper delves into the complex dynamics of stability in the region, examining both the centrifugal forces, such as the 2022 outbreaks of violence, and the growing centripetal forces, like increased regional cooperation. The discussion will cover key vulnerabilities, including Russia’s influence, economic challenges, and the role of security services, while also highlighting the strengthening resilience of Central Asian states.
