David Mulrooney

Research Fellow

David Mulrooney is Project Manager for the China Initiative (based in Beijing). His main research area is Chinese foreign policy; secondary areas of interest include the DPRK.

Mr. Mulrooney graduated with first-class honors from Trinity College, Dublin. He pursued graduate studies at Harvard University and is a former Fulbright scholar. He also studied Chinese at Tsinghua University as a Chinese government scholar.

Current Projects:

  • China-EU Relations (edited book project in cooperation with the Institute for European Studies at CICIR, forthcoming in 2012)
  • Literature and the Construction of Ethnic Identity in Colonial Malaysia (book project, forthcoming in 2013)
