On February 10, the ISDP Silk Road Studies Program organized a Workshop in Tbilisi on Georgia's strategy on the occupied territories. Among the participants were the Georgian minister for Reintegration, members of the opposition and civil society. Read more here.

Conference on Energy, Environment and the Future of Security in Central Asia October 18, 2009

On October 15-16, 2009, Niklas Swanström attended an international symposium on "Energy, Environment and the Future of Security in Central Asia" in Rome, Italy. The conference was coorganized by ISDP, the Department of Strategic Intelligence and Security Studies of Link Campus, University of Malta, the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the U.S Department of Energy.

MOU Signing Ceremony July 14, 2009

On July 14th, a MOU between the Academy of Military Science and the Institute for Security and Development Policy was signed by Major General Huang Xing and Director Niklas Swanström in Beijing, China.
