The Asia Program at ISDP offers the opportunity for university professors, researchers, and other professionals with a background in international relations and Asian Studies to spend research time in Stockholm, for periods from 1 to 12 months.

Visiting researchers may conduct research on a topic related to the academic research programme of the institute, or join our projects linked to the various conflicts, complex security and development challenges in the Asian region focusing on Northeast, Southeast and South Asia.

ISDP is currently seeking an English speaking intern. The intern will work closely with the institute's researchers/staff within the ISDP Asia Program. The candidate should possess excellent coordination and communication skills.

Are you insterested in gaining work experience in a dynamic and international environment? Every semester ISDP admits applications for internships. Candidates will be able to commit five months of full-time work. Interns will be working on a particular research project, and/or assisting with more general administrative duties, including editing, outreach and preparation of seminars, conferences and other events.

ISDP is currently seeking an intern with particular experience in the East Asia region. The intern will work closely with the institute's researchers/staff within the ISDP Asia Program, with a particular focus on the institute's guest researcher activities. Please note that fluency in Mandarin/Chinese is a requirement for this position. The candidate should also possess excellent coordination and communication skills.
